  • i have a american akita black and white but is turning more white on it body area i love him so much he is very aggresive towards other types of dog but not american or japense akita. akita are part of a spits familty so my dog doesent hurt them . like my dog max he saw a pomerainan getting ripped up like cushion by a bull terrier max was fighting with his claws we tried stopping it coz u r not aloud to make dog fight coz it is cruel but it all stopped the bull terrier went back we help the dog

  • not for Japanese akita Inus, only american ones

  • what about pinto thats a colour for akita

  • cud u ask him please if he got it from leeds?

  • where did u get the on the left???? the little 1 it looks esactly like my dog she is 3 now we got her from leeds

  • whaaa i didnt know there were such thing as long haired akitas?? and no there not two japanese akitas there two american akitas... japanese ones dont have black mask..

  • Try reading posts before commenting. We are discussing the long coat variety suddenly being illegally sold as pure stock. and yes Jason has a good foundation but he has forgotten that all coat coloration are available in Japanese stock... but only ones who do not have face masks and fall into a select coloration group are used for show in order to show honor to the original stock of the breed.
