What is PoetryVisualized.com about?
Visual poetry is poetry that combines motion graphics, film or video, music and of course, poetry. This offers an exciting format where poets, motion graphic artists, actors and other artists can reach out to the public and show off their skills and talents.
Naturally, PoetryVisualized.com allows our members to show off their creations. But we have plans that go beyond merely being an online collection of fantastic short films. Our first project will be a documentary of the visual poetry world where we will take the best short films and put them together, with commentary, as a full length feature film. That film will be submitted to the major film festivals. All income from that film will be divided up among the contributing artists and PoetryVisualized.com.
But there is much more to come -check it out on our web site.
If you would like to join this exciting new art form, just submit your own short poetry based film to PoetryVisualized.com and we will take care of the rest.
And, you don't have to have a completed film to become involved with our community. All poets may submit text only versions of their poems or audio only versions of their poems to share with the rest of our community. This will give other creative minds an opportunity to use the poems and combine them with audio, music, motion graphics, video, photography, paintings and other elements in order to produce a completed visual poem! The spirit of PoetryVisualized.com is to have all creators intermix with each other.

I ask myself as I listen, why can't I see anything on the screen but this advertisement style signboard? I hear a lot of talk about artists collaborating, but the message I get from the subtext is buy sell buy sell. Exactly who are we dealing with here?
