This video captures the hustle and bustle of entering the main square in Marrakesh. Look out for my favourite ice cream store where you could get two scoops of ice cream for $1.28
I'm still in the process of setting it up lol I am already considering doing a tour of Ouarzazete and an excursion to a Berber village. I also want to do a 1-day desert trek but I can't find one that I can afford yet. I'll see when I get there. I have to conserve some money because I'll be shopping for a group of 28 in the aswak (plural for "souk")!! LOL
@superleo30317 Do you not have an itinerary set? I'm planning on seeing everything I can in Marrakech, but the majority of my trip will be outside the city - I'm renting a car and driving to Erg Chebbi to go sandboarding and ride camels in the Sahara. Extremely touristy, but it's just another thing I can cross off my list. :) I've also heard of goats climbing aryan trees near Essouria that I'd love to see; that'd be pretty crazy. Hope you have a good time in Morocco like I inevitably will!
@stephaniepowell thanks for heads up lol I'm going the week after you and staying until the end of July. Are there any special places you recommend visiting?
@superleo30317 I'm going in July too (actually next week!) and I think it's going to be super hot; I checked the weather a couple days ago and it looks like it's going to be in the 90's, low 100's. H-O-T.
What time of year was this taken? I'm going next month and I've heard Marrakech is the hottest area, but I see people walking around in blue jeans and dark-coloured shirts lol
