I don't think that second chord is an A. If it was it would be like an A with a 6th and a 4th in the bass. I think its actually a D with it 3rd in the Bass...if you can even call that "in the bass" ;p

Hey great tutorial! Very thorough and well done! It definitely helped me get a clearer idea of some of those really intricate parts though.
One thing though, the "sus" in any chord name if short for "suspended" not "sustained". "Suspended" refers to when you remove the 3rd of a chord, and usually substitute with a perfect 4th or 2nd, sometimes 9ths too I believe! "Sustained" is a term you use when you are describing the length of a note.
