This is my very first YouTube video! I can't believe nobody has done a video of "The Latke Song" by Debbie Friedman yet. This started out as a project for my 5th Grade Sunday School students, and they loved it (I think)... I hope the rest of you enjoy it too.

Latke is called potato pancake in English. It is fried in oil. It is crispy on the outside and soft inside. It is topped with either apple sauce or sour cream. Potatoes are grated and mixed with beaten eggs, salt, a little flour to bind, and onions. It is savory.

@LleraCronicas They're latkes made with food other than potatoes. If you actually bothered to look it up, you'd see that there are special recipes for diabetics. They're not true latkes, but that doesn't mean that people can't treat them as such.
