Lance allows you to side step or jumb back. This gives a momet of invulnerability

Use lance like this:

Poke->Poke->Poke-> X + Direction

while, in this game. Whenever you roll or slide(lance/gunlance) you will have a extremely short moment of invulnerability, where nothing can damage you. By having armour skills such as evade, you can further extend this moment of invulnerability :)

Nice fight and i like the new lance you have there . i just restarted my save file after losing my data and am trying to take on the guild rathalos before i go back to the village 4 * quests. any advice on a good lance to fight him with?
