Sorry but i didnt work for me i downloaded the zip

i did all what you showed but the flash bar dont show the layer 2 when i put it in my website it just sayes at the layer one i dont know but maby the user chek script dont work for me or something plz help ...

Run a quick php test script on your web server... your host might not have PHP enabled on your live web server.

Thanks... no sweat... I learned PHP and javascript first... so I guess when I went to learn actionscript 3.0 it was easy for me... they are very similar.

The flash CS3 help file is where I find all the code to do what I want. Programming is kinda universal once you work with a few dynamic languages a bit.

can i ask something? why this code. if ($_POST['username'] != "") ,is not working? it has an error of "Notice: Undefined index: user" can anyone help me please! Thank you in advance. ^_^

@IownAmooseFarm make sure that in your header_template file it says the url for the header.swf file rather than the simple header.swf extension. i had that problem and just realized that and it works now.

@flashbuilding I have the same problem, i have followed the other tutorials from part 1 to part 5 and everything works apart from this one, I have even tried just using your header and code as it is from the zip folder only changing the links to my website and it is still stuck on the first layer (not showing the login options or anything) I have the login.php and the checkuserlogin.php scripts in my scripts folder and they're location referenced in the code so i have no idea why it isnt working
