Byzantine Museum - Access to Cultural Heritage PART II The Touch Tour

Το Βυζαντινό & Χριστιανικό Μουσείο επιθυμεί να προσφέρει πρόσβαση σε άτομα με αναπηρία. Tο 2007 συμμετείχε ενεργά στο ευρωπαϊκό πρόγραμμα «Access to Cultural Heritage: policies of Presentation and Use (ACCU) » διοργανώνοντας μεταξύ άλλων το καταληκτήριο συνέδριό του. Στο ίδιο πλαίσιο το Μουσείο δημιούργησε στη μόνιμη έκθεσή του «απτική διαδρομή» για άτομα με προβλήματα όρασης η οποία υποστηρίζεται με λεζάντες και κατάλογο σε Braille και με audio-guide.

The Byzantine & Christian Museum of Athens wishes to offer access to the disabled. During 2007 it has participated actively in the European programme "Access to Cultural Heritage: policies of Presentation and Use (ACCU)" organizing, among other things, the programme's concluding conference. In the same context, the Byzantine Museum created in his permanent exhibition a touch tour for visually impaired citizens, supported by captions and a catalogue in Braille, as well as by an audio-guide.
