Peavey's Transtube Series of guitar amps are great amps that are extremely versatile. You can get one thats a small one or get a big one like this a 112 or a 212. The amp features 2 channels (2 Modes Clean, 3 Distortion Modes), 2 Independent EQ's, Master Reverb, Master Presence, Effects Loop, a knob that lets you adjust how much powr you want to run on anywhere between 10-100W. It has a Sheffield 1230 speaker which has very good voicing. It has a tight/loose resonance switch to give you those warm breathy amp sounds or that tight metal sound. It is very versatile, its affordable, very powerful, and one of the best amps I have ever played. It emulates tube amps quite well, it really has the warmth on the clean channel that is absolutely unmatchable.
