AVForums visits JVC HQ to get a first hand look at the new HD100 anamorphic lens, developed for the custom installer and consumer market by Bruno Verhenne and the Team at T&W Marketing.
yeh, because you are using more of the panel in the projector, the resolution is higher (using more pixels) and you are using more of the projectors brightness. then again, considering the price of the lenses, you could argue its not worth it.... not sure..
Is there any difference between using this lens and just zooming the projector in to produce a picture big enough to eliminate black bars on the screen?
I have been buying many projector, but I don't get what a big deal about anamorphic lens ? what the heck is 2.35.1... why can't 16:9 isn't good enough?
