Im not trying to offend you or anything but do you know why it smokes like that? Mine does the same and i have to change the spark plug after about 10 hours of riding because it won't start anymore.

@pitrideradz @pitrideradz i dunno bout you. my yz250 from 1992 NEVER EVER foulda plug running on almost dieing idle. ilet it warm 5-10 mins WITHOUT any blips. never fould a plug. does this indicate that i know how to jet a carbby?

Stop going on about reving it when it is cold it makes no difference. Every one does it and it warms up your bike quicker. All members that still have 2T's at my local mx club hold the bike wide open to warm it up, it stops the plug from fouling up. We are not in the dark ages any more people, these engines can take some serious stick! But I would just like to point out that the bike does sound like its running lean, probs due to crank seals. Also get some fenders on your CR buddy :D

@RCdude33 They aint bad tbh, i ride in the woods sometimes with my uncle who has a YZ250 and he hasn't fouled a plug yet, had the bike for 8 months

Hey man how do you like your 2003 yz? Do you foul a lot of plugs whenever it comes to the woods? Also does she stand up in 4th gear or even 5th? Also hows the reliablilty?

hey men...it depends..yz 250 can be done with out splitting the crank case. same as acr250..except kawasaki kx 250..have to be split ..as far that i know..,to replace the lift side seal..must remove the plywheel its in behind it..remove the seal with a flat screw driver very carefully ,for the rigth side..must remove the cover...clucth assymble..then un screw the bolt,or nuts on the crank gear., then do thesame thing as you did on the plywheel side....
