You Can Discover - John Martyn

It's taken me a while but I thought I should do a bit more JM - In tribute I suppose.

I think this is a beautiful song. A couple of little mistakes in there but hey, nobody's perfect!

Something strange happened to the aspect ratio when I edited this on movie maker but I thought I'd just leave it as it makes me look thinner :)

And thanks to the wonderful John Martyn Guitar Freaks' Forum for the tuning.

To answer your questions in turn:

a. Correct

b. First - string 3 at fret 7 and string 4 at fret 5 then 3 at 8 and 4 at 7.

c. First - 3 at 12 and 5 at 10 then 2 at 10 and 5 at 9.

Dear Waggonerslad

Lovely playing. Could you give me a few clues as to how to play this, please? In the open position are you fretting just the fifth string at the second and hammering on the fourth at the first fret?

Then when you move up to the fifth and seventh frets, are you just fretting the fourth string or are you fretting other strings too?

Then at the tenth and ninth frets, are you just fretting the fifth and third strings, with the rest open?
