With images taken in 2001, I take you on a (basic) tour of the wreck of the Titanic, as the R.O.V/submersibles will allow us to view.

This is the 2nd of my non 'Raise The Titanic' related videos and dedicated to the wreck of the TITANIC and those souls lost in her tragic sinking in April 1912. I have more of these to come over the coming months.

The song is called "Darkness, Darkness" and is sung by Lisa Torban

  • There are around 2 or 3 versions of Nearer My God To Thee, and this isn't the one that would have been played by Hartley; but it is a very nice recording! Where'd you find it?

  • @BarryDennen12 - Hartley was a violinist, not a pianist ;o) The debate is still out there to which version the band played and one that will never be answered.

  • what's the second's song name? so beautiful

  • @stella85wppl - It's "Nearer My God To Thee" and was played as Titanic was sinking in April 1912.

  • Can you tell me me the song's name at the begin, please?

  • After seeing this, I'm amazed that people still think the ship should be raised. There's nothing left! Everything shown in this video is barely recognizable. The ship is DEAD.

  • god u ppl are dumbasses nobody can raise the Titanic it's to far down in the ocean we don't have the technology to reach down there only pods and drones can duhhhhhh

  • :( This makes me so depressed

  • GET THE TITANIC OUT OF THERE!!!

  • these are stills from the ghost of the abyss movie!!!!

  • @kfhify Many times i think we idiots that we dont raise it,but really it would cost billions and we have 50% changes to bring it with many parts having break up.I think the best time to raise it is when it collapse in 10 years,50 years,100 years{who knows}.Piece by Piece and recreate it as much as we can.IT WILL COST BILLIONS.But think how much dollars it will bring from people paying to see it.THE SHIP THAT MUST BE SAVED IS BRITANNIC.100 METERS{IN MY COUNTRY}IN ONE PIECE,PERFECT CONDITION!!!

  • The most amazing photos I have ever seen especially of the inside of the Titanic. Unbelievable detail and resolution. Thank you for sharing this fantastic look into this historic ship.

  • foc'sle

  • I'm fairly aware of his chosen instrument, hahaha.

Note that I said, it's not the version that "would" have been played, logically speaking. He could have played any one of them, but the numbers are on the side of the people who recognised the version played in A Night To Remember as the one being played on the ship, and at memorial services afterwards. Again that's not 100% proof of it being 'the' one, but it is more probable.
