  • This is an out-take that has crept into the repertoire; the original single on Imperial is much softer, smoother, and has an additional verse before the bridge. Wish I knew how to upload it. This is OK, but not as great as the 45. I asked Carol Connors but she didn't remember anything about this switch. It's her lead vocal, Phil Spector (vocal, guitar) and Marshall Leib (vocal) The original version was stated as the A side of the 45, but both sides are beautiful. Composition: Spector.
