Total time for the piece (blank board to finished piece) was 142 minutes. The piece is in oil, 5x7 inches on gessoed illustration board (Strathmore 500 series heavyweight vellum finish) and the under-painting was acrylic. From photo ref

  • Nice! What type of brushes are you using mostly?

  • Brand wise, I really like Loew Cornell Golden Taklon. In this piece I used shaders (flats) sized 4, 8, and 12, a round 2, and a 1/2 inch mop
