David Padgett is no doubt all heart. After over coming what seemed to be a season ending knee injury he helped lead the Louisville Cards Basketball team all the way to the Elite 8, only to lose by 10 to the UNC.
Words can't say how much of a hero he was to me and problem most, if not all, U of L fans. He has shown so much heart and determination throughout his whole career at the University of Louisville. I don't think we will ever find any other player in the history of college b-ball that played with so much class and style. David Padgett is no doubt the model college player that any young child who has aspirations as a player can look up to. On and off the court David Padgett was a true leader for our Cards.
David Padgett you will never be forgotten and will always be remembered as the heart and soul of this wonderful team. You have no doubt put a lasting hope in the other players that will no doubt stay with them throughout the rest of their college days. We love you David. Thanks for being our hero....
Thanks to Courier-Journal.com's public pictures for the great pictures of David.

@Lorenshyne Yeah, thanks. Its very strange that Andre McGee and that Holloway kid are there too. If not for the injuries i think Padgett would be ballin in Europe.

you may not have been the most talented player on the court but you were the best leader.

So, what is the Calipari Curse?
Missed free throws.
When the game is on the line, when the heat is turned up, you can count on any team Calipari is coaching to miss free throws.
Beware the missed free throws...

@Lorenshyne After a couple years of playing in the Pros he decided he had enough and wants to be a coach. He is now working with U of L as a strength coach under Pitino. He is in a great place to learn to become a coach.
