@wjkssmd I have been doing this for a while, with a non hard case lipo they can be damaged if your flying or driving a model. The sack is a good place to put a puffed lipo to prevent excessive damage or fire. These videos are just an example of what can happen, it's not a scare tactic. It's the reality of the batteries we use. I am pretty sure everyone realizes that these were made under not typical conditions so the failure would happen and they could test/ show the value of the bag....
For the price of the Lipo Charge Sack... I think the sack is are worth it.(even though I don't have one at the moment).... they are selling the sack based on your fear, but these batteries really do put off a nasty fire and smoke when they go. The only way I know that is because I have intentionally destroyed some.
@LoganMctavish --- anything is possible, I will grant you that... but I am more inclined to believe that the battery was overcharged, unbalance charged, slightly damaged or some other abnormal reason. Now given that, I do store my batteries in a ammo box, sort of a belt and suspenders approach. Lipo technology is just too important to ignore. Take precautions and use it correctly. It will never be child-proof, so I do not encourage anyone under 10 yo to be using them without supervision.
Now it is about scaring everyone from using Lipo technology. Why don't you ask the voltage and amperage? The reason is, they are way over charging the lipo for a dramatic effect. Used with the proper charger and undamaged, these batteries have never caused me a problem in almost 4 years of use. It is not about "wrong settings" it is about intentionally trying to destroy the battery.
So every lipo explodes immediately? I don't think so. They did something wrong on purpose to let them explode. So if you just charge your lipo , nothing will happen. I think that if you buy a charger and you put the lipo in, it will just charge and not explode immediately. Why would you otherwise buy lipos? To see them explode in a liposack to have a toasted lipo?

@wjkssmd I do know of someone whose battery spontaneously lit on fire... it can happen just not likely

@wjkssmd Its not about that idiot, its about showing what could happen if you choose wrong settings or threat the lipos wrong...

@Naud1234 they can do if you choose wrong voltage maby or threat the lipos wrong... gotta have respect for these batterys.

So how about stating Voltage and Amperage used in the videos... if you use the correct settings... how often does this happen? Never.

this may sound stupid but is the bag reusable after an explosion?
