    satisfied if all the audience had sat there stony faced in formal attire with Andre saying "Those in the cheaper seats clap your hands and the rest just rattle your jewelry".

    (& yes I know it was Lennon who came out with a similar remark back in the 60's at the R. C. P. in front of H.M.)
