A time lapse video of my XR650R getting rebuilt from the frame up. after 5 years of beating on her i decided it was time for some love so i stripped it down to the frame and replaced almost everything... o just watch the video!

@tutt15923 thanks! the gas tank is from an Italian company called BL Itialia and goes for around 390 euros. its handmade out of aluminum and it uses 07 crf450r plastics and holds around 8.5 liters. i hd mine powder coated black and love it!!!

@XR650ARES thanks man, i love the pig 100x more now!!! the front end swap is the basic crf450r swap... there are a bunch of threads on the net if you do a google search but the basics are.... crf450 forks, modified stock clamps (you use one from a crf and one from the xr) and depending on what front wheel you have there are a few options.. i purchased some spacers from evolution suspension and use the front wheel from the xr. look on supermotojunkie thumpertalk and xr650r forum for all the info

@jeronimable Thanks! All in all it took around 5 months to rebuild but a lot of that was waiting for parts to arrive.

where did you rebuild this is it a store? with all the helmets etc. its a really cool video just watching a bike slowly apear like that :) very nice :D

@irhererOfLoL no, i rebuilt it in my living room!! i live in thailand and its way to hot to work outside and i never used that small part of the living room so i mad it into a workshop! the helmets are the result of working in a bike shop for years!

Dixie was extraordinarily helpful for about 15 seconds. Zero help from the cats apparently. No credit to Nong for polishing any parts?
