@anderzom Not best sound? Have you actually heard this recordings? Compared to other format and releases from LZ this format is far superior. Interested in which ones you think sound better.

How is the sound quality? Are they remasters?

@JTHAMMER12 I'm positive they are remasteres and the sound quality is just really rich and clean. You can really hear the difference between other releases and this box set, just superb sounding cds.

@83rock83 Thanks for the reply! I am seeing some with japanese lettering on the side of the box.(I know there is supposed to be some on the sleeves). Im afraid these may be counterfeit. Where did you purchase yours?

@JTHAMMER12 I bought it from a soldier selling it on craigslist for 50 bucks. I did notice it did not have the obi strips when I purchased it but said wth. There is this site called minilps(dot)net which they compare a counterfeit one with an original one and this one has all the legit stuff, the wheel on LZ3 whih alot of counterfits lack, all the black borders on some albums, whih also counterfeits lack, I did inspect it very good and its legit. the guy probably just threw the obi strips away.

Thanks so much for uploading this video!! I received one in the mail today from Amazon, turned out to be counterfeit!!! Your video really helped me a lot, in terms of reporting the issue to the site and telling them what the boxset should have been like. @83rock83 I have the box by the way, but just for collecting; are really nice design like all japanese mini lps; send me a inbox I can show you a place for talk about zep and you know more about sound, I have to rips in high very high quality of vinyls; you definitely will be hear the difference

@83rock83 hi, of course that box are released in japan too in shm format but is the same than normal usa box... the point is the old Barry Diament mastering is really better that than box; or japan targets of 80s (not all catalogo are released) that on CD but if you want really!!! zep sound, the choice is vinyl, original pressings or the 200grams from classic records sounds amazing; I have it; but all that if you are an audiophile if not the point is enjoy the music! ;) avoid remasters!
