How to steal items with reverse pick-pocketing (if you don't want to kill the person), we used Colonel Autumn's coat as the example. Make sure the item you place on the person is of higher DR and value.

half the time you don't even have to wait 24 hours, just change screens to where it loads anything, (area traverse) then go back, and the npc is usually switched by then. if outside, you can reverse pickpocket then fast travel away and back and its ready. i think this must be like my third play through in as many years and i have all the residents of big town in tesla/hellfire armour :p its funny to watch someone smoke through a metal helmet, and drink/eat
