@kmg501 I hate to say it, but this is a necessity in this type of government. The people with power will always abuse those lower than them, WHY? Because it is necessary. Stop crying and deal with it. You mean to tell me if you weren't in their position you wouldn't do the same just to get that big paycheck every week or two? It's a necessity. DEAL WITH IT.

He mentions "violent crime" but the most violent crime I've seen in human history is white collar, political & economic crimes.
Why?
Simple, because while violent crime has emotional shock and hurts individuals, the others hurt & destroy thousands to millions of people.
This is what is called the "multiplier". The human devastation in these multipliers is what needs attention. It is those criminals who should be subject to the harshest punishments, not the other way around.
