I had a similar problem with my HP dv9000. I am not happy with this laptop now. The screen is completely fried, and HP won't take any responsibility. Nice one, HP. Hewlett Packard dv9000 laptops could have been great, but something is wrong, and HP won't fess up. What's the deal, HP? Why won't you stand behind your product? I would gladly retract this statement, if HP would contact me and fix the problem.
