You know, all of us homesteaders are faced with the fears of what the media throws at us. I, for one, take the view that I have taken since my dad passed. Especially, since becoming a Christian, I rely on my faith. See what comes along. Put food and firewood up for the winter. I am in the same boat. Good luck to you and yours!

you should never let people make you feel like you are not providing for your family. you are a good man and you can only do your best. you have a loving wife who stands by you and helps you and you will both be just fine. dont let people that have no idea what your family is going through affect you.....

Oh thank you very much! I don't know that it is something that will ever come to fruitition, but it was a good thought! I don't know that real estate is where we want to be during the current economic..umm "issues".

Nice to see what you have been up to! We have thought about commercial real estate...we will see I suppose. Hope the winter hasn't been treating you too harshly thus far. We have had two bad blizzards, but within days of their end, all the snow was melted! I even have a broccoli plant that has survived them both! Go figure! ahaha...Have a great week.

Hay. I share the same belief that you do. I have a small business in furniture stripping refinishing and repair. I will tell you that if you want to suport the homestead.this is it. I sell eggs, beef cows, meat chickens and vegtables. the furniture thing has just taken off like mad. If I van do it. Than any one can do it.
