How to get that AC/DC "clean distortion" sound. Using my Peavey Bravo tube amp and my Peavey T-60 guitar. I also have a Marshall Plexi, but you can get the sound with other amps, as I do here with the Bravo

  • Can you do a longer demo of showing the capabilities of the Bravo with the T-60? That would be great!

  • @mapleblackdrums I'll try to put something together - this combo is fun because it will do Telecaster/Fender country as well as Gibson/Marshall Ozzy sounds. It sometimes sounds more Marshall than my Marshall

  • I too have a Bravo, and a T-60 (Well actually I have three T-60's) Man, when it comes to describing a T-60, where do you start? I'll put it this way, I have a total of 17 guitars, and as much as I love my USA Gibson Lespauls and USA Strats, the T-60 is the best for tone, no doubt about it, the Lespaul is my next fav.I bought the Bravo a month ago because my tube amps are all 50 and 100 watts & wanted the lower wattage. I love to see the reaction when my buddies hear it for the first time.

  • @swisskeen I know what you mean with the T-60. I've also got a T-27 and a Gibson SG reissue from 1987. The T-60 is my favorite. A guy that plays with us wanted to trade his Fender USA Strat for the T-60 the first time he heard it. I told him to just sell the strat on ebay and buy 3 T-60s. I love the Bravo amp. It does everything from country clean to Metallica.

  • I have a t60 and a peavey bravo too. I put a weber (green back) in it though. I also have a Weber 50 watt Mass Attenuator that allows me to get full saturation a lower volumes because 25 tube watts is still plenty loud.

I would like a 412 cab to play though.

  • @mapleblackdrums The T-60 is a fantastic guitar, and I think the Bravo is a very versatile amp. The clean channel really shines. The Marshall cabinet really adds to the capabilities of this amp, but my 2 x 12 open back cabinet actually sounds better (I put Eminence Governers in it).
