danny thompson rattles that double bass as if it was just a little guitar! really strong player. in fact, sometimes i feel his bass playing actually DROVE john martyns solid air.

I think that second camera is meant to be John's "POV" :) He'd apparently had at least a couple bottles worth of red wine before the set. Apparently they had all had a bit a drink before that set.

@cosmiclight I like Pentangle but they are decades old so I don't know if you're referring to today's American music or it's past.......? Because you can say what you want about Pentangle's brilliance but America has given birth to some of the world's greatest artist and styles of music.

freaky mirror camera stuff. Maybe the acid wasn't stronger back then, just the special effects..check out the great orange amps and terry Cox's immaculate silver sparkle kit...timeless. Fucking amazing track!
