@wilski32 tarantino wrote the story n was kinda directing it as well until he noticed Oliver Stones direction. Tarantino pulled out because of all the internal drug taking n ad-libbing; Tarantinos screenplay book is fairly different to the finished film

Oliver Stone , in my cinematic opinion was the "mastermind" behind NBK. Look at all the different filmming methods he used to capture a certain feeling. I mean who the fuck films in 8 mm black and white anymore!!?? Best love story of all time!! " ...BURN THIS WHOLE WORLD DOWWWWWNN!!!!" P.S. The soundtrack made the movie amazing too
