They're supposed to use it to make their show better but instead they waste it on nonsense. Sesame Workshop, meanwhile, puts the money they get back into their company.

I think its better to have a tiny welfare system with minimal help ONLY for the extremely ill who CANNOT work under any circumstances.

However in the UK the welfare system set up my socialist clowns in the labour party made such a mess we now have 75% unemployment rates in part of Newcastle, Liverpool and Sunderland as well as 6 Million or 1 in 10 people living on some kind of welfare, THERE ARE 2 MILLION PEOPLE ON DISABILITY BENEFITS which is ridiculous

@steven8hamilton My grandfather worked 100hr weeks for years, my dad did the same for years (like in at least 30 years) and I get to have the fruits for that. I understand your frustration, I am not a "leftie". However social security isn't always detrimental to your economy, on the contrary. Ofcourse you can't overdo it, but you can't deny that it's better to overdo it than to have none at all.

I am nearly from Europe (Britain) and I think European style social welfare is stupid. Here in the UK we have generations of families who have never worked cause the system is so stupid it just gives, gives, gives.

If you cant be fucked to work you get money for everything, there all sorts of different payments to recieve plus heaps of free stuff that I (taxpayer) has to pay for, free medication, housing, school meals.

I pay around 60% to the state and get fuck all back.

@HitfulVids As a european I can tell you you are grossly simplifying Social security. It's not just giving people who want to quit early money, it causes an increase in general wellfare, it can actually save money (I'm talking about medcare specifically now : most of the time if you can get medicin's early you have to get less and can go to work again a lot sooner) and is really more then worth it. I give about 50% about my income to the state, and it's frustrating at times but I'm glad I do.
