That's not a survival kit. It's a looting kit.

@Tradekraft what are you going to do if the item chained up or locked is yours. Maybe the lock wasnt yours, but someone else decided to keep you from it. This is about contingencies. Assuming a person with breaching tools is a thief is like assuming a person with a boat is a pirate.

@IndyGreen My bad, I meant to say salvaging. and calling me a would-be thief is just stupid. I'm a cop and a damned good oath keeping law abiding one. Sometimes you need to open shit. Sometimes your trapped and dont have a choice but to go through a locked gate or building. It is not about steeling, it's about not dying. I prep. I store. And I have options.

what about a sharpener?

Your Freudian slip is showing. "Savaging" for survival? Maybe the person that put the lock on that door has kids to feed also. And if your rationalization is "it's survival" a would-be thief like you will quickly come to the realization that if you eliminate competition for the resources, the better chance you have to survive. Prepare resources for yourself - don't prepare to take from others.

@LastOrder90 By concentration camps do you mean the ones set up by FEMA? Yeah, those are set up to house people in a New World Order by our government. Not for helping us.

@usfreedom22 In that case, they are all necessary items. Excellent work sir.

reminds me of my last trip to my dentists office.

Loppers are my life.
This stuff is really only useable in a bug-in situation not bug-out just to clarify. Your weight constraints are too great to include all of that for getting out. You'd be smart to ditch the sledge because you have a flat edge on the axe head, replace the saw with a chain hand saw, ditch the wedge and use the axe to cut a wedge out of wood when needed, and I'd ditch the cutters and go with a smaller crow. Just my 2p.

No need to clarify, I dont plan on buging out. There is only about a 5% chance of me buging out. If I were I would take my well stocked bug out bag. The odds are better for me to stay put with my water/well, food and firearms. So that being said these are all great items to have. Thanks for watching

These are my work tools. I only work a few nights a week. If you want to get into my line of work, I would also recommend a few other items. I wear every time I leave the house for work.
A ski mask, some supple black leather gloves., and a bit of pepper spray for those pesky guard dogs.
