I think the film is brilliant n the comment about is from a hindu fanatic who doesn't seem to have the patience to either view the shades of human suffering nor appreciate or understand the meaning of art... . Do a course in film literacy if you indeed can take this advice.
Newer films try to be too artistic but then the movie is so freaking slow. Until 2:00, there is not a single sentence. Until 4:00, the lady keeps yelling - where do you go? OK, we get it, let's go faster. Artistic movies do not have be time busters. Pass this message on to art directors. The slowness ain't working~!

I am surprised that the central idea/theme is borrowed from Manto's short story 'Thanda Gosht' without giving any credit to him!!!
