Weeds creator Jenji Kohan spills Season 8 scoop including his take on Shane joining the police force and what it could mean for Nancy.

Still no word on if there' will be a Weeds Season 8, but we're pretty optimistic about it. Assuming there is, creator Jenji Kohan commented on SHane's new chosen profession and how that might become a part of the plot. She said: "With Shane joining the police force, there is a part of him that loves law and order, that loves power of other people because he's lived in this criminal family. It's sort of our nod to 'The Departed,' you got one son going one way, you got another son going another way. It's gas in the tank for a new season. What do you do if you're a drug dealer and your son is training as as police officer?" We hope a Weeds season 8 can explore this more. Stay tuned to our updates for additional Weeds buzz.
