A Wild Horse

All right, the title of this video is ironic. I am just always amused when someone who interacts with this horse says she is an alpha. When handled gently and patiently, she is a beta, perhaps even a gamma. (And who doesn't love their gamma?!) If handled roughly or indifferently, she can, like all of us, get annoyed. True leadership is not about "showing the horse who's boss" or running the snot out of them in a roundpen. It is about gaining enough love and respect to be able to toss out the lead rope and know that the horse will be right there behind you.

@6horsecrazygurl9 Wish mine had just a bit of that--she literally eats twice the amount a horse her size normally eats, and getting weight on her is incredibly hard. So along with the snow, have Licorice ship us a couple of kilos ; )
