Train 1:
A UP coal heads to Proviso yards with 2 AC4400CW's.

Train 2:
Metra 2148 with a nice toot and MP36PHI 411.

Train 3:
A Tardy 2133 heads north with a lovely P5 and F40PH-2 103 "Village of New Lenox"

Train 4:
Amtrak 339 switches over to main 2 to go around 2133with a nice toot, P42DC 61 and NPCU 90224.

Train 5:
Metra 2137 with F40PH-3 116 "Village of Orland park" heads north after leaving Glenview.

Train 6:
Metra 2139 pulls into Glenview with F40PH-3 102 "Village of Mokena" and a perfect block by the black car.


Train 7:
Metra 2141 with MP36PHI 416 for power to fox lake.

Train 8:
Metra 2150 with F40PH-3 103 "Village of New Lenox" and a nice toot.

Train 9:
Metra 2143 with MP36PHI 417 and F40PH-3 110 "Brainerd" and 4 nice toot's from the engineer.

  • @Amtrak1194 Passenger 79 and freight 60. that was a Western Ave-Glenview express.

  • I've been debating this for the longest time; I know Amtrak service will hit 70 mph through the Edgebrook-Morton Grove block but that last Metra Express train looked to be doing in upwards of 70-79 mph, what is the maximum track speed allowed by Metra express trains?
