Two teams of six Colorado State University ROTC cadets, one Air Force and one Army, will travel to White Sands, N.M. this weekend and ruck 26.2 miles through the desert while carrying 35 pounds each. They will compete against teams from around the country. Pick up Monday's Collegian or check Collegian.com to see how they fared.

  • Cool stuff, I've just started my training for ruck marching for Civil Air Patrol. I'm a cadet Chief Master Sergeant, going for Lieutanant soon. Do you have any advice for ruck marching? I'm using a large alice pack for my load, so it can suck at times. All part of the deal.

  • great stuff guys!- from a former AF ROTC dude turned 2LT!

  • good stuff..check out what we did
