symphony x is more than a prog band, if they werent they wouldnt put all the other prog bands to shame. they are the greatest ever, not kiss or the stones - please. does anyone say that the rolling stones are the best stonner rock band , no. so why whenever symphony x is mentioned they always have to be limited to a genre when they have more chops and styles of playing than all the other bands/genres combined. they just dont come any better than that!
