The night was February 9th, 1995 & only 10,630 fans at Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver would be witness to the toughest game & most penalty minutes accumulated by both Winnipeg & Vancouver in this fight filled night of hockey.
Canucks Mike Peca nails Teemu Selanne with a cheap center ice hit knocking him out of the game which sparks what would be a fight filled night at the hockey rink. In the end, the teams rack up a total of 18 Major, 9 misconduct and 23 minor penalties for a total of 226 penalty minutes. Canucks defenseman Jeff Brown scores 2 goals and Canucks captain Trevor Linden assists on 2 to lead the Vancouver Canucks to a 5 to 1 victory over the Jets.
