A battle sequence I created in 3D.

  • what 3d animation engine did you use, this looks amazing!

  • @62cky4powerthirst - Thank you! I used Maya for modeling and UV. All others including animation are done by XSI.

  • Nice choreography and style :) I await to see your full-length feature someday.

  • Thanks! I hope that day will come~

  • How hard was it to achieve the anime effect with this short? Is it something that you'd think absolutely requires XSI to work?

I only own Cinema 4d and a very basic video editor called ulead. I have the toon render plugin but I don't have the first idea how to achieve a look like this..

  • I like you.

  • Good!!

  • 太屌了!台北新一代設計展一定要去參展!真想要學到跟你一樣強!!

  • Nice work! I like the camera angle and perspective in some extreme motion shots!

Also, to control the shadow areas of toon shading is difficult, but you handle it quite well.

    Nice job!

P.S. If a medium shot is added within the shot started at 0:19, that might be more exciting=)

    Great to watch your piece.
