Actually i think Eric will do anything for Sookie and god forbid if he doesn't get Sookie eventually he will go out like his maker meet the sun disappointed with his 1000yrs of existence .I think behind that thick armour lies a very passionate being who has suddenly awoken from a deep slumber by the arrival of a certain cocktail waitress of bon temp nothing has touched his soul for the past millennia and here he is having feelings ,he is in love ......

I prefer book eric hands down. in the show i hope sookie ends up with sam. they have turned eric into this awful guy which he is not. i can't wait to see how they pull it out thier ass in order to turn eric in season 4(book 4) into the eric we all love.
