At this point in the game Baylor was in the lead 68-13. They had the ball and looked to be on a drive to score again with approximately 9 minutes left in the game. The Bears drove down inside the Demon 10 yard line. On 3rd and 4th down Baylor 2nd string quarterback, Nick Florence, took a knee thus turning the ball over to the Demons. Obviously, Coach Art Briles was not in fear that the Demons would stage a comeback.

  • First off. As you clearly end up seeing in the video, there is over 9 minutes left in the game when BU starts taking knees, not 3-4. And second, the QB on this drive was Nick Florence, not Blake Szymanski.
