wow just realizing henry is march 9th 09. a family i babysit for had a son, henry on the same date! he is no where near starting potty trained... and he still has a bottle... and paci :/ ahah
I think waiting until your child is totally ready, is the key to success. I waited with my daughter, even though I was feeling pressure to start. I just kept saying over and over, I will start when SHE is ready, and when SHE is showing all the signs. And that's what I did. And she was potty trained in a month, shortly after she turned 2 years old. But I would have continued to wait, even if that meant she was closer to 3 when we started, if that's what needed to happen.Way to go Henry and Mommy!
Wow, on earth did you do that?! My son is only a couple of months younger than Henry and is soooooooooo not ready yet. I don't want to do it till he seems ready, and am waiting for the warmer weather..... summer still hasn't really hit here yet (Australia).
My son still isnt potty trained & he will be 6 in feb :(. He was potty trained for a few months before I gave birth to my last baby back in Oct of 2010. But now he is no longer potty trained at all. So good job Henry!
I am so excited to hear you and JeniP both say that your boys became potty trained when THEY were ready. I am starting the process with Carter (25 months) and he has been asking more and more to sit on his potty. I hope it "clicks" with him like it did Deacon and Henry! Thanks for sharing!
so excitin!

Definitely! Waiting until THEY were ready has worked for us twice now! And both were different ages so I know it has to be true!
