@sickpoola It's in Indianapolis. That's what's wrong with it. We didn't know what we had with the Zero Boys. How much chance would the mighty Husker Du stand?
Sorry.

i don't know if i'm wrong, but what the hell is with this crowd?!!
-
I wish I had seen them when I had the chance...... I remember them up on the "Upcoming Shows" lighted multi-colored chalkboard at the Living Room (behind the bubble); Providence RI............
-
bob was in an urgent need of an exorcism

Books About UFO's is one of my favorite tracks off New Day Rising. Really cool to see them perform it live. Best band of the 80s hands down
-
these clips are awesome. As a fan that never got the opportunity to see them live, this stuff is mind-blowing.

CONCLUSION- HUSKER DU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!
I picked up my belongings in a nylon carry-all
I hear the porter call
Said "The sky's the limit on this chartered trip away,"
I guess I'd better stay
Out there on the desert, I see trees on every wall
Nothing's ever solved
Said "The sky's the limit on this chartered trip away,"
Guess I'd better stay away

I saw them two days after this show and talked to Grant Hart before the show. He was not strung out on heroin at this point. Bob and Grant still seemed to like each other and enjoyed being on stage together. I was also at their last show in Columbia, MO, and the mood was completely different. Bob was pissy and Grant was out of it. So, I think you are a bit premature on your assessment of the band situation. And they ARE one of America's greatest bands.
