  • I was born and raised in Suriname but left for the USA to study. In Suriname, there is freedom, unlike in other parts of the country. You don't have food at home? Go fishing along the river or plant yourself. Or even better, neigbours always have food for you. As a person YOU WILL NEVER STARVE TO DEATH in Suriname. Yes, we are a 3rd world country and we don't have expensive cars or yachts or million dollar homes. What we lack, we make up for in other ways.

  • I'm sorry Bigsmilewear but the poverty in Suriname compared to poverty in USA, Africa, Asia and even some European countries is not bad. Maybe the maroons and Amerindians don't have it that good, but that's because they choose to live in the bush instead of the civilized world. Yes, they don't have a great economy(mostly because they have only 500,000 citizens), best education system or healthcare. But Surinamese people aren't dying of starvation or homelesness.

  • nunca había visto gente de suriname, a pesar de un país latino como guyana no sabía nada de ellos, ustedes se sienten latinos?? porque siento que su cultura no se relaciona muchos con la cultura latina en general

  • fukin retarded niggers

  • better to be there than bee here in europa or in the states under a bridge like a trash bag . easy life is the secret to be happy .

  • @Entje and unlike in the west people do not die alone ( and lonely ) . I don't care about expensive ipods and cars . just a bit of food is enough.

  • @kontolkubesar23cm wat ben jij voor oversekst iemand joh! xd

  • suriname met al zijn krasie meiden ja daar wil ik wonen en neuken en ook hun kutje likken

  • It is true there is poverty in Suriname, but not extreme poverty like there is in the Ghettos in the US or in some other african countries. Most Suriname people do have all basic needs fullfilled. And you will never see a child on the street suffering from hunger. Just one day in Suriname will show you that all the material stuff you can't live without is also available in Suriname. There are as many middle class and rich neighborhoods as there are extreme poor ones.
