  • How people have forgotten the effectiveness of Karate/Judo combination. nowadays, people only want to do Muay Thai/BJJ combination.

It is indeed very nice to see Karate/Judo combination still alive and kicking today. Thanks for uploading.

  • minuto 0:33 azul anota 2 puntos con una patada a la espalda!!! el rojo la agarra por dentro y nadie marca punto!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is pure shotokan karate. It has nothing judo

  • one thing I do find intresting and people kinda are not seeing, as much as he is out classing the other people, he seems alot more willing to fight, and the others just crumple mentally and see it more of a game, as most people do in sparring or striking tournys. The judo guy is full on and is going for the throat so to speak. That is one thing that grappling does more then striking martial arts, striking martial arts don't go 100% out of fear of injury, grappling do go 100%.

Welcome! But don't forget about Daido-Juku (aka Kudo), it consists of karate, boxing, judo and other technics.

  • @garry112735545 Holy cow. Looking at the video you mentioned, you are indeed correct.

I am surprised though. I have never seen such an amazing Jiujitsu. Is this only Bushinkan that fight like this? or any other TJJ also fight like this?

I mean I can see striking, grappling, takedown and submission in almost one go. Just like real Samurai fight.

    Thanks for showing me.

Here you are typical traditional Jujitsu (JJJ, not BJJ) for example:

  • @garry112735545 I have finally checked the Traditional JiuJitsu out. ... No, Karate + Judo is not = Traditional Jiujitsu.

Traditional Jiujitsu (from what I can see) is more like BJJ with equal stress of importance between standing grappling and ground grappling with some throws involved.

Karate + Judo is more about striking/positioning with little to moderate grappling and takedown/takedown defense.

  • @garry112735545 Interesting that you say that. I am yet to check traditional Jiujitsu. I will definitely check that out see how it looks.
