Joey Pearson - Song idea: Find Our Way

Jim Stajdel and I are working on this song and possibly going to the studio to record it. The words are definitely unwritten but we have a basic melody. This I just to let you all know I'm still alive and kicking musically!

the idea is great, the melody fantastic!

but i have a little problem with the intro. i think the third chord is not very intuitive. i played it on the piano and maybe try this:

| D | A | Em | G | D | A | G --> lyrics...

just an idea, do it your way the song will be great!

I agree with you...I tend to lean toward holding the G for two measures and going into the alernate melody that will be the verse once written. But I was improvising trying to get to the singing part!! Hahaha

This is the first song I have heard from you that sent chills down my spine. It has complexity, strength, and conviction. The last run at the end was bit icky but on a whole you have a real winner here. I LOVE IT!
