Lauren Brooks from http://www.OnTheEdgeFitness.com, teaches you step by step the Front Squat with a kettlebell. Squats will strengthen and tone your legs, butt, thighs, and core muscles. This clip is taken from the Kettlebell DVD "The Ultimate Body Sculpt and Conditioning with Kettlebells."

  • Lauren, not to take away from your credibility..but you are gorgeous

  • Good video. It's nice to see someone doing squats all the way down. Doing deep squat is actually easy on your knees as hamstrings kick in to stabilize your knees. Doing half way squat is not a squat but a squa. :) And front squat is better than back squat especially here in the US due to upper cross syndrome which most Americans have.

  • @coachaliciafong you sound like an idiot. 'front squats are better than back squats' thats stupid. both are good and both do different things.

  • This is no joke. I have been doing kettlebell workouts since Jan 1st. I have lost 14 pounds and 1.5 inches on my waist! I also do a low carb way of life. With the correct eating habitats and exercise you can achieve the body you want.

  • @LoveOneAnother1 tell that to olympic lifters who squat hundreds and hundreds of pounds ass to floor.

  • @coachaliciafong What is upper cross syndrome? By the way Alicia, I like your vids too. :-)

  • good woman!!!:)

  • I NEED A WOMAN LIKE THIS..

  • @LoveOneAnother1 Being a competitive powerlifter I respectfully disagree with you on this one. Going deeper is actually better for the knees. I train with a guy who has been doing them that way for 30 years and no knee problems. I have only been doing them deeper than parallel for over 25 years and no knee problems.

  • awesome squats, like the butt back first and knees are right. Couldn't do them anybetter myself.

  • kettlebells don't hold a candle next to Olympic weighting... nothing motivates like the sound of bumper plates hitting the floor

  • great job. rock bottom squats activate everything including hip flexor muscles.
