Calming the Storm.

Taking a moment to appreciate this beautiful world of lifeforce God has granted us, thoughts on newfound religious maturity, a special reading from Luke 8 and how it relates to my life and best of all - expressions on the peace Jesus grants my mind, body, spirit and soul...

Today's Reading ~ Jesus Calms the Storm ~ Luke 8:22-25
22 One day Jesus said to his disciples, Lets cross to the other side of the lake. So they got into a boat and started out. 23 As they sailed across, Jesus settled down for a nap. But soon a fierce storm came down on the lake. The boat was filling with water, and they were in real danger.
24 The disciples went and woke him up, shouting, Master, Master, were going to drown! When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and the raging waves. Suddenly the storm stopped and all was calm.
25 Then he asked them, Where is your faith? The disciples were terrified and amazed. Who is this man? they asked each other. When he gives a command, even the wind and waves obey him!

Whoa, no idea where that comment went. Anyway, while watching this video again I still believe that this shirt makes you look so alive. The colours of Blue, Brown, and Beige bring your eyes to life and they look so beautiful.... :) YOU are so internally beautiful as well as externally. Here was my reasoning - I thought, if I died would I want someont to direspect my body and skin me then wear me? hell no so why do that to an animal, hunting or not, dead from whatever cause, it doesnt matter, leave the skin on the animal where it belongs - just like the flesh. Dont eat or wear it, it's disrespectful to that precious being. And what looks so nice about real or fake animals products, whats cool about parading murder in your gut or clothing.. Im sure as another vegan u understand.

You are quite welcome. It came at a perfect time because yesterday I was thinking about leather. I OWN it. I wear it without thinking twice and this needs to be looked into. It's something I want to explore and really soul search over. It will be very easy to toss animal skin products, even easier to not buy them from this point on but I want to make these choices based on soul searching - if that makes sense. It makese it intimate and more meaningful to me... more respect for animals and me.

Thank you for your answer, you make a good point..It is ridiculous to wear fake furs and leather, but still if it makes people who loves the look of leather and furs to wear fake instead, its a good idea making those clothes.

Im not sure if this is something to look too deep into or waste energy on..

This is not an area I have worked on but lately have come to realize it's something I want to work on. I am starting to find it ridiculous to even wear fake leather and furs as I am having thoughts that it would be like skinning a human being and wear fake human skin coats and such. I am not sure of my thoughts yet so I can't really discuss this at this point as I am very confused on my thoughts about even wearing fake furs and leathers.
