The last evening of Saturday, was held in Madrid the first contest of Miss China Spain's at Miguel Angel Hotel. It was an event that is much more than a beauty contest, is an excuse to strengthen ties between the Chinese community very numerous Madrid and Spanish society in general.
The event was organized by the magazine Hispanic Xishang China, and the president of the magazine, Ms. Esperanza Liu, head of the event which also served as host of the contest and participated in the awards Xishang 2010.
Of the 17 candidates, each a charming and gorgeous girls, only one was the winner, in fact, a favorite of Madrid no Madriz Blog and me is his name Elisa, number 16.
The winning prize is not bad, $ 1,000, a trip across Europe, a professional book and a series of interviews and appearances in magazines, something really interesting, it is worth it.
The other girls were also awarded in various categories. All of them were elected with votes cast online, the magazine Xishang and jury in this event which was composed of persons related to the world of culture and entertainment.
Haike Marketing, service company dedicated to promoting relations between China and Spain as well as organizing the beauty contest was responsible for organizing, for the first time in Spain, Xishang awards. With these awards, is intended to honor all persons, institutions and companies, every day, are actively involved in promoting, fostering closer relations and friendship between Chinese and Spanish.
One award went to Madrid pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai. Another major award winner was the Spanish Football Federation, do enjoy Spanish and Chinese with Spanish victory in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The award was collected by the federation president Angel Maria Villar.
They were also awarded various Spanish and Chinese companies and the government regional integration issues.
Undoubtedly, these acts bring us closer and make us feel both Chinese and Spanish locals and members of a community, ever larger, richer and more varied.
