  • @Artfulskribbler 8 months is good - congrats. Yeah, I'd say the acute withdrawals last like a month to a month and a half. After that, I really think it takes over a year to totally get back to normal. After the acute phase there are lots of little symptoms - irregular sleep patterns, stomach and diet irregularities - just lots of little things as your body resets itself. If u have been using for years, its not unreasonable to expect your body to take a long time to readjust.

  • @ilovecalinclayton totally agree, state of mind plays a big part in getting free

  • @alternatehistories i'm at 8 months now, exersise is the best way to get those endorphins going, i started kickboxing for a laugh, about a month ago, and get such a good feeling at the end of a session, it must be the endorphins, well worth pushing yourself!!

  • @Etniesskater15 that is a ridiculous drop, not surprised your suffering, drop from 8 to 6mg be kinder to yourself, good luck

  • @Etniesskater15 you jumped to far. if you're on 8mg taper down to 6mg at the most, tapering too fast will result in failure and discouragement. So just go down to 6mg or 7mg if its too hard, it takes a while you cant do it too fast, it won't work.

  • thanks dude. i thought nobody could get off of suboxone. you could tell your telling the truth.

  • We can't expect to do what we've done and just decide to walk away Scott free! As humans with a sense of reason we would silly to not expect to have to "pay the piper" for the stupid things we've done. There's always repercussions for the actions we take, good or bad. Embrace this suffering for now, except it for what it is. Sort of a self inflicted punishment if you will. Just stay positive and you'll get there. "we are eternal, all this pain is an illusion". THERE IS A LIGHT AT THE TUNNELS EN

  • @clovercityy15. Dude isn't trying to scare anybody. This guy speaks the truth. I'm 2wks clean after a 5yr 300mg a day oxy/perc habit and then did the sub thing for a yr and 2 months at 4mg per day. All a shitty comment/attitude says is that your not mentally ready. For me personally, I just got fed up with it constantly hanging over my head. This isn't a joke...these are real people with real problems who are brave enough to come out of the shadows to try an offer some encouraging words to othe

  • That's the worst the legs and arms restlessness.no sleep for days on end I'm on day 4 with no suboxone . Was on it for 3 years.the key is don't listen to your doctor when you start cause they make you take crazy crazy high dosage. Towards the end I took a crumb a size of tictac from a 8 mg suboxone and lasted me day and half. If you on high dosage withdraw for like 3 days and take a little piece you'll won't regret it! Good luck people.pharmaceutical companies who peddle these drugs are worst t
