@EmInEmFaN80 its like carracing is better than horse racing. horseracing got the older history and still got a place in society like boxing and carracing is the newer version with other rules and stuff like that but it still got the same goal to cross the finishing line first. it´s complete nonsense to compare those styles

And that's coming from a long-time stand up practitioner. The essence of martial arts in terms of combat is to show dominance over your opponent whilst sustaining minimal injury/harm to yourself. Thus a takedown, ground an pound and choke out of that severely un-prepared overconfident fuckstick toney was a far more effective
