    there's alot of bull shit ass politics holding this girl back...makes absolutely no sense why Amerie is not marketed appropiately. Its just wrong...she's very talented and this album was critically acclaimed, WTF!!! Politics as usual...

    For one, the record industry is so conditioned to "manufacture" an artist instead of allowing the artist to simply express their gifts liberally and be themselves.

    Amerie was signed to Columbia and because of another performer on this same label, all of her promotion just got cut off like it was never there.

    it's BS...this is a great album that should be on top of the charts. She's sincere, she can sing and her music is amazing...
